Nikhil Anil Brijlal Kumar Sharma was born on November 4, 1991, in Mumbai. His father Anil Kumar Sharma used to run movie theater business, which, Nikhil is continuing to take it forward. He never discusses his father’s business. His mother is a homemaker. He admits that he was a below-average student in school who secured just enough marks i.e., 55 per cent, to pass the senior secondary.
He was doing graduation in hotel management at rizvi college in mumbai, While still in graduation, he applied for Jet and Qatar Airways. Luckily, he cleared for both. Nikhil choose Qatar Airways over Jet and served as a flight attendant in the Airlines for six good years.
While serving the sixth year in Qatar Airways, Nikhil Sharma took a break from his routine job and thought of starting a venture of his own. When he spoke of the idea, his father warned him but like every ambitious child, he won his dad’s heart. His father agreed that Nikhil could stay but with a condition – if his venture doesn’t go well, Nikhil would go back & join his job. Nikhil Sharma had put up a business which eventually failed.
In 2012, when he had to go back to join his job as the leaves were about to finish he lost his support system, his dad passed away. Considering the situation he decided to stay back and take care of his family business. After taking the lead to look after the family business, Nikhil still had that quench to follow his dreams. This led to starting the YouTube channel as Moto vlogger.
In July 2013, Nikhil Sharma started vlogging about his travel journey. It was the time when moto vlogging was new. Nikhil Sharma started sharing the travel videos from his local journeys of Marine Drive, Lamington Road, Chor Bazaar and many more such places in Mumbai. This was the time when Nikhil Sharma gained popularity and became to be known as Mumbiker Nikhil. He rode and completed the journey of Mumbai-Bengaluru-Mumbai in 28 hours on his bike. You ask the distance? It’s 2000 km!!! It was meant to grab the attention of his fans-in-making.

He then went on many rides, the remarkable ones are Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Mumbai-Nepal, Mumbai –Kolkata-Hyderabad-Mumbai and Mumbai-Manali. Here, I would like to mention that success doesn’t come like a flash of light. You need to put a lot of efforts and invest time to achieve success in whatever you wish and be patient. Same is Mumbiker Nikhil’s story. He kept on working towards his passion and never stopped. He kept on doing hard work. He kept on publishing the amazing videos of his adventurous bike trips and after all this effort he is living his life to the fullest, Travelling - Vlogging - Riding Bikes - Marrying the love of his life and most important his fans love!
Nikhil was invited to the YouTube Fanfest. Nikhil has also collaborated with other renowned Youtubers – Bhuvan Bam of BB ki Vines, Ashish Chanchlani, Parajakta Koli, Technical Guruji and Be Younick.
Mumbiker Nikhil’s main source of income, as he says, is from YouTube videos, brand collaborations and sponsorships. Nikhil Sharma now has his own house which he has transformed in his office and has brand new Audi Q7 which he wanted to buy from long time and finally he did.
Also recently, he bought another house which is in hiranandani powai with lavish interior and is living with his love of life, his wife shanice (Got Married on 31st January 2021).
It’s just not that he had a passion; everyone does. Everyone has a goal to achieve. It’s when you realize how to work towards it.
